B.Character Name and Image (or gif)

KATHRYN BERNARDO as “Mia Dela Torre/ Celine” flew to Barcelona to escape her father’s disappointments. She had hoped that she would find a job and a life that would put her back in her father’s good graces. But her plan backfired and she was left homeless and jobless in a land she’s not familiar with.
DANIEL PADILLA as “Ely/ John Elias Antonio” whom friends and I used to consider off-limits being that he’s a boy young enough to be our son if we gave birth right after we got our first periods, had us swooning and screaming like teenagers. He was heart-breaking when he sad and such a joy to see when he was flirty and happy.

C.The characters moral dilemma and decision (what is going on). Provide dialogue from movie or show possible.

THE MORAL BATTLE BETWEEN PRIDE AND BEING DESPERATE
Barcelona a Love Untold is the two characters is being stuck in their past and escaping from the past caused negative effects both mentally and emotionally. It also shows that a person must accept the past and live the present.

CHARACTERS MORAL DILEMMA AND DECISION
The Moral of the characters:
In the movie Barcelona: A Love Untold, the characters of Mia and Ely simply shows a moral character of being desperate, they think that avoiding each other can help them to forget the past of their life.

Dialogue from the movie “Barcelona: A Love Untold”

INSIANG: Baka lang kasi naalala mo si Celine kaya mo siya tinutulungan?
ELY: Ang layo, tita.

MIA: Naisip ko to help you move on….
ELY: Move on from what?
MIA: From everything that’s keeping you from moving on.
ELY: Stop acting like you know my pain! Stop acting like you own it! Hindi ikaw si Celine and you will never be Celine!

ELY: Mia mahal kita.
MIA: You don’t have to. Wag mo akong mahalin dahil mahal kita. Mahalin moko dahil mahal moko because that is the love I deserve.

(After days without seeing each other, they finally meet up to talk about how they feel)

D.Connect it to Kohlberg’s Moral Development theory clearly. “Demonstrate understanding of a character’s behaviors/decision making as applied to the theory.

The decision of the two characters is connected to Kohlberg’s Moral Development theory through the circumstances that they become desperately pursuing to forget their past. They both make a decision without analyzing and thinking first the consequences of the actions they make. Mia and Ely was experiencing a hardship that time and they wasn’t able to consume enough time to think of it before going and making a decision.
